21 and Over Fun at the Carnegie Science Center

By Allison Glatsky

There’s a little kid in me that loves the Carnegie Science Center just as it is; all the cool exhibits and gadgets. But I bet you didn’t know there’s a night that adults can go to the Carnegie Science Center to have some fun and it’s dedicated to us grownups. Which means you can’t possibly be the only one that’s wanted to visit the Carnegie Science Center without bumping into a child. That’s right folks; they’ve got adult programs too! Because what’s better than grabbing a friend, having a great time, and also seeing some really cool stuff in the process. Who knows, you might even learn something!

The Carnegie Science Center 21 + Glow Night is full of live music, snacks, and awesome exhibits. You’ll have the opportunity to learn about chemical reactions and light production, oh and did I mention…lasers?!  It’s a night for the adults – just fun, freedom, and stress-free!

It’s not JUST about science though. Come out and enjoy cash bars, food, and fun exhibits without the kiddos. Interested yet? Well maybe this will seal the deal. You’ll also get a discount on laser shows throughout the night if you decide to attend the event. Tickets are $12 if you get them by noon on Friday (which is obviously recommended – who doesn’t like saving money?) OR $17 if you decide to purchase them at the door, the night of the event. Don’t forget to bring your I.D.!
